Paul Cooper makes the world safe from bad meetings

Paul's services – meeting facilitation, strategic planning, and organization development – provide the tools for people to work together and develop consensus faster and more efficiently. His deft touch and lively approach make it easier for leaders to organize their facts, consider options, listen, analyze, and come together to make smart decisions about the future.

The International Association of Facilitators has recognized Paul for his excellence, skills, and knowledge as a Certified Professional Facilitator designation. Considered to be the "gold standard" for the field of facilitation, there are fewer than three hundred Certified Professional Facilitators in the United States.

In addition to facilitation, planning, and organization development, Paul is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and is a trained focus group moderator. In each of his areas of expertise, clients benefit from Paul’s ability to listen, motivate, and focus resolutely on plans that bring results. He has great range, working comfortably with advocacy groups, businesses, non-profits, government, and associations. And clients rave that his sessions are creative, insightful, and fun.

Paul began his career as a public affairs consultant, working on Capitol Hill, serving on the campaign staff of two very unsuccessful presidential candidates, and facilitating a long-running peer support group. A native of Staten Island, NY, Paul holds a degree in Government and Spanish from Franklin and Marshall College, and has forgotten most of the sign language he learned at Gallaudet University.
